I am very lucky to be a frequent worldwide traveler and this accommodation is up there in terms of the quality of places I’ve stayed. A fantastic, quiet and homely place with friendly and helpful hosts; especially Lena and her mother Ranjanan who were so kind. Also too, Babloo my tuk-tuk driver and Lakhan my taxi driver. My room (B) which was smallish but bright was spotlessly clean with a huge comfortable king size bed and clean sheets. The bathroom and shower were also excellent. There were clean towels and bottled water provided daily too. The Wi-Fi and A/C worked great and housekeeping was available every day if needed. The roof top terrace with a view of the Taj was spot on. A lovely place to relax if not going out on a trip. For a trip to the Taj Mahal this has got to be one of the best locations to stay. There was also a taxi service available from Delhi Airport which was a reasonable price at 6000. Cold soft drinks, wine and lager are also available from fridges on a trust basis….a lovely touch. If you are planning a trip to the Taj, look no further. You won’t be disappointed. As for the price, it is good value for the experience and comfort provided. Thank you! 🙏🏻

Great location not far from the Taj, which can just be seen from the lovely rooftop terrace. The hotel is very clean throughout, our room was tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed and decent sized bathroom. We had the 3 course Indian set dinner when we arrived quite late on our first night which was very tasty and substantial if a little pricey at R800 compared to eating out, but okay for a hotel. The hotel has an honesty bar with beer and wine, in addition to soft drinks. There also a great cafe, Good Vibes, which does a range of excellent value dishes from breakfast through dinner, located just around the corner.

The location was great and the room was really comfy, there’s lots of little bars nearby as well to go and watch the world go by We used Babloo the tuk tuk driver (who is normally outside) for most of our running around, reasonably priced plus he wasn’t trying to sell us stuff, he also waited for us so we didn’t have the hassle of haggling to get back from places

Food in Aman Homestay, A Boutique Hotel

The staff are incredible. We arrived a little late and we were offered a family meal which was delicious! The breakfast was extensive and all served on the beautiful terrace. The main thing I have to thank the hotel for was looking after my mum. She had a leg Injury before coming to agra and after seeing the taj was very sore and tired. They allowed a late check out at no extra charge and really looked after her. Rooms are lovely too and clean, spacious and also had a good hair dryer. There is also a lift for accessibility and the roof top is gorgeous. Will return.

The staff was phenomenal and they were very attentive to our needs, going out of their way to make sure we had the best experience possible. The breakfast menu was quite extensive which gave us the opportunity to try different options that felt homey and family-like. It's very much worth the value for money. The rooftop has a lovely view over the Taj Mahal.

The rooms are really nice and have a big bathroom. It was the best bathroom we had in our journey in India so far. The dinner is homecooked by the family and delicious. From the rooftop (which is also really pretty) you can see the Taj Mahal. And it is only a 5 minute walk to the ticketcounter for the east gate. We also used the laundry service - which was fast and good value for the money. The family who owns the homestay is friendly and their english is very good.

This hotel is ideally located for visiting the Taj Mahal, the Red Fort, the Baby Taj, and other sights in the city. Our driver, Babloo, and guide, Muhammad Tariq, were arranged by the hotel. We not only took home incredible impressions and interesting information from the day, but also took some amazing photos. At the chai stand in front of Shanti Manglik Hospital, we even drank the world's best masala chai. The hotel is centrally yet quietly located and has everything you could wish for during your stay. Lunch and dinner are also available upon request. From the roof terrace, you can already see the Taj Mahal.

The hotel is lovely and modern furnished with attentive staff. Everything very clean in the room and outside. Optional dinners are eaten collectively with other guests at very large tables which helps in getting known them. Food is great. The business is family run. The reception will facilitate arranging transportation and guides and they don't push it at all which is great and really gives a tourist breathing space. There is an ATM across the road which is very useful because food and drinks are cash only. There is also a nice roof terrace with the Taj visible in the distance as well as some mid-floor terraces where one can touch down.

Very friendly family/staff. Home cooked food was lovely, actually dinner was amazing. The decor is a bit random but interesting and provides the charm that makes you love the place. Room was spacious and had everything we needed. Dining area had a fridge with drinks which you just used and wrote down what you used (trust is so warming) There is a lovely roof terrace on 2 levels, with views across the city, including the Taj Mahal. Properly is close to East gate of the Taj. Wish we had time to have stayed another day!

The accommodation is lovely sitting on a quiet street off the main road. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, allowing us to delay our check out by 1 hour to suit our plans. I really enjoyed the family style dinner, it offered great value for money and a real authentic experience in a city where you do need to search amongst tourist traps. The roof top terrace is amazing and the view of the Taj Mahal on the horizon was stunning. You grab drinks from a self service fridge with an honesty system. We had a few kingfisher on the roof in the evening on the swinging egg chairs and it was such a great moment.
